  • 24 oz. 80% ground chuck
  • 4 ea. Swiss cheese slices
  • 6 oz. Sautéed mushrooms
  • 1 tsp. Salt and Pepper
  • 4 ea. Kaiser buns
  • 2 tbs. soft butter
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • white onion, sliced
  • mayo
  • green leaf lettuce, torn
  • tomato, sliced
  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Butter cut-sides of buns with soft butter.
  • Place buns on tin foil butter-side down, then place on grill and warm until toasted; remove from heat and set aside.
  • Form (4) 6 oz. patties using the ground beef. Season on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Place burgers on grill and cook for 4 minutes on each side or until internal temperature registers 165 degrees on a meat thermometer (for well done).
  • Place sautéed mushrooms on top of burgers, followed by cheese slices, and close grill cover. Then, turn off heat and let burgers stand for 5 minutes on grill until cheese is melted.
  • Place burgers on bottom-half of bun and add additional toppings as desired, followed by the top of the buns. Enjoy!
